My Best 10 players in no order that played for NUFC that I seen play for us live. Started going 1989:
Beardsley
Andy Cole
Shearer
Les Ferdinand
Rob Lee
HBA
Ginola
Woodgate (albeit very brief)
Bruno
Isak (through gritted teeth)
*Just missed Gazza playing for us.He was at Spurs
Dear @wolves. You wrote to me in 1995 when I was 17 indicating you may wish to contact me directly to pursue my application. I wondered if you’d had opportunity to consider this yet? I feel I’ve been very patient.
@JacquiOatley Did you actually watch the game, Jacqui? If you are basing this judgment on the outcry alone then maybe actually assess the evidence first. This wasn’t one human error, or two human errors, this was a succession of unfathomable errors that inevitably amount to suspicion.
Interesting that players are allowed to make human errors, managers are allowed to make human errors, but match officials are absolutely not allowed to make human errors.
@andydaviesref But you can’t separate the two. I’ve watched football for 40 years and never seen a display that poor from the officials. Surely VAR reliance is a factor. So what is the answer? Only use championship officials for the FA Cup because they are braver than those in the EPL?
@andydaviesref I was in the away end. The lino got dogs abuse in that second half which worsened with each atrocious call. I can’t help but think that influenced his mindset cos his bias got worse and worse. No excuse for abuse, but none for his performance either.
it was a poor day for Referee Chris Kavanagh and his team, he will know it and he will be devastated today.
Match Day +1 after a such difficult day is such a lonely place, despite the wrap around support available to him.🙏🏻
@AFC__Xtra@bantam_the Swings and roundabouts. This wasn’t given in the same game, yet Newcastle had one awarded against them on Saturday (ridiculously) when Murphy was trying to get the arm tucked behind his back. There’s no campaign against anyone; it’s just the standard of officiating is abysmal.
All we want is fairness. Nobody is asking for us to be treated special or whatsoever. We’re in a league where an offside goal was given against us in a title run-in and VAR claimed they FORGOT to draw offside lines. We lost two points as a result of that terrible decision. Be serious please
@BBCMOTD Nonsense. He kicked the ball and as his foot landed the PSV player planted his foot right in Bruno’s path. What was Bruno meant to do, suspend his follow through foot in mid air? This pic is deliberately misleading.
VAR Shock: Ex-Refs Chief Says Arsenal Were Robbed of Clear Penalty...
Keith Hackett says Ola Aina should have been punished in the 80th minute.

The most annoying thing about this handball was if Arsenal were winning 2-0, this decision gets given.
However, because it could be the decision that gives Arsenal 3 points, PGMOL didn't give it in an attempt to control the league standings.
@lee_ryder That’s not actually what he said at all. He asked if you’d seen the stats because he disagreed with your assessment, and then went on to justify why without further mention of the stats. You are right to challenge when many others brown nose, but must fairly reflect his response.
Eddie Howe rejected criticism during his Press conference that the middle part of the Burnley game was an "onslaught" by the home team. Howe deemed "the stats" as the correct measuring stick for performance. #nufc
@HarryT44979617@LFCLaurie I think we’ll see if this argument holds water depending on how Wissa now settles at Newcastle. He also missed pre season on strike plus he’s had a four-month injury lay-off. If he comes out the trap flying it finally lays to rest this Isak pre-season argument everyone has pushed
@LFCLaurie An athlete that misses the preseason has essentially lost the entire full season. Isak will return to full form next season. For the next 6 months or so, he'll be a substitute at best like Chiesa.
I can't lie, I'm starting to get worried about Isak.
We can't use the preseason excuse anymore when it's December and he has one goal in 641 minutes in the PL and UCL. He looks so far off the pace it's unreal.
@GeorgeCaulkin@ChrisDHWaugh@TaylorandPayne Odd outlook on Pope, Chris. On the one hand you say it’s a nuclear option, on the other you agree one more mistake at Everton and then he must be dropped. Sounds less nuclear and more that your threshold for when enough is enough is different to the rest of us.
Happy Thanksgiving! Hear from #NUFC fans in Portland, Oregon. Hear from Hall of Famer Ando. Hear absolute peak @ChrisDHWaugh - it doesn’t get more Waugh. Hear chat about Marseille, Everton, Pope, away form, away fans, plus more!

@PreshUnfiltered As a NUFC fan, he wasn’t complete. He thrived off our system. He’s shaky in one on ones and not great in the air, and he’s ineffective vs a low block. He’s got great qualities but needs the team building around him. Liverpool need to change their style to suit him or move him on
What happened to Alexander Isak?
He used to be more complete than Harry Kane, Haaland, Lewandoski and Mbappe.
There’s something the premier league takes from you.
@toonchants
When the ball hits the goal just like Shearer and Cole - Woltemade!
When he’s making your day just like Ba and Cisse - Woltemade!
When he’s banging them in just like Kelly and Quinn - Woltemade!
And he loves Geordieland just like Les Ferdinand - Woltemade!
