A few snippets from the Leicester Case 1: The Premier League wanted a 12 point deduction claiming that Leicester had not co-operated with the investigation by not submitting accounts and should have been deducted for three years to 2023. This ignores that Leicester embarrassed the PL for that particular charge due to the poor drafting of the PL rule book. 2: The commission did give a 7 point deduction which it reduced by 1 in acknowledging that Leicester’s losses ⬇️ from £90m in 2023 to £19m in 2024 3: Leicester feel that as the PL/EFL change of constitution only took place in 2025 they should not be charged for the years to 2024. Also the EFL should not apply PL rules as they were not part of the prosecution. They would have been happy with a fine

Leicester will consider an appeal but this punishment could have been much, much worse - Premier League understood to have been pushing for a 20-point deduction for various aggravated breaches #lcfc

So if a goal is scored from a corner that was incorrectly given when it should have been a goal kick VAR can’t intervene !! However when a goal is scored after travelling the full length of the pitch VAR goes back to intervene in the ball going out of play,yeah makes sense #AVFC

@J_Tanswell ok so from what you no that’s not totally off the table either! just think he’s a talent that we could use especially when the europa league and league season hots up with a lot more games and potential injuries and suspensions kick in!i do believe the 10 game clause reason
