@flah1984 Yup, there'll be 104 games in total in 2026 with 48 teams compared to 64 with 32 teams.
The two finalists will have played one more match more than any other team in World Cup tournament history as they'll have to play eight matches as opposed to seven in the 32 teams format.

Not mentioned here in this summary, but is in the linked article, is that only captains can approach referees. Anybody else who does so will get an automatic yellow card.

Weightless fingernail trimming - bits go everywhere! So we cut them over a fan filter intake and vacuum them up when done (keeps someone from inadvertently breathing them, floating around). Note the velcro on the clippers, for 0G storage. And the loud ambient sound of living inside a spaceship.

Climbing into a spacewalking suit for a training session. I'm wearing padded long underwear full of cooling tubes. To get into the Orlan, you open the back like a fridge, perch in the door, hook up all connections, and slither inside. The life support equipment (air scrubbers, temp control) is in the backpack. We call it a spacesuit, but it's really a 1-person spaceship.

Watching "NHK Newsline" about the Japanese hospitality industry particularly the food service sector which is already struggling to find workers have been further hit by their government's decision to limit the number of non-Japanese allowed (only 50k allowed!?) to work in Japan.

I know that Japan are making it more difficult for non-Japanese people wanting to go there & work as the rules are tighter.
Working conditions over in South Korea aren't great for non-Koreans.
