Our coastal communities and businesses are being decimated by the algal bloom. We need to do everything we can to support those affected, that’s why we are calling for a revival of the Great State Vouchers to incentivise travel to areas impacted by this natural disaster.

Typical Labor, they’ve been dragged kicking and screaming into announcing funding for algal bloom relief without any detail of who will receive it or how they can apply. Just an empty headline.

The toxic algal bloom is devastating South Australian coastlines, causing significant and widespread marine life deaths to over 390 marine species. We want to see a swift end to this major ecological disaster. That’s why the Liberal Opposition are urgently calling on the State Government to support a Royal Commission, so we can get independent accountability, transparency and real recommendations on the path forward.
