@LarryToweTV I don't know want Miops needs, but if you can hook an Arduino or RPi to it, then likely.

@David_Newman Miops trigger in the future? For say lightning or wildlife motion detection? Very cool.

Another GoPro Labs release for HERO13 (v1.30.70). There is a new auto dive mode white balance, and experimental command shell for those that don't already find Labs too geeky. Always looking for feedback on current and future features. Download from gopro.github.io/labs

@konrad_it Please share your findings on the Labs forum. Also wanting feedback on commands to add to make this viable iOT camera control over serial. This is a working first draft.

@konrad_it I tried that first too. You will need a USB Host port as serial over USB ACA is not a true serial port, USB host will negotiate the connection. I just received a USB host board, but haven't wired it up yet. Today a PC or RPi should work, but I want an Arduino to work.

@David_Newman Tried to get it to work on a FTDI, note the camera doesn't go into MTP screen, tried regardless, using just 4 lines (GND, 5V, UART TX to RX and vice versa)

GoPro Labs is out for HERO12 Black. This adds support for the new HDR, GP-Log and Max Lens Mod 2.0 modes, while supporting 99% of the existing Labs features.

@maxcineflights You are using the wrong media. All 32GB cards use a FAT32 filesystem, which will only support a 4GB maximum file size. 64GB cards or larger use exFAT filesystems, which can handle the large files.

@David_Newman 4.29GB ja corrupt (2 of 6) I tried to "repair" the footage with the GoPro itself (normally it detects the corrupt files but with both corrupt files it doesn't) I have tried different micro SD cards all the same (use 32gb Sandisk extreme pro, have 12 brand new ones because i

@stim3on @TJ_Cooney There is no mathematical inverse that is practical. You simply use the forward transform, iterrating for an ever improving approximation. That is what GoPro FX Reframe and the Quik App are doing.

@stim3on @NASA_Orion @ChrisBlanos Yes this is protected IP, but that would be for camera implementation, not for post reversal. In HERO11 there is metadata for all video images and their projections. This is part of the GPMF metadata extracted as a JSON with some crude explanations.

@stim3on @NASA_Orion @ChrisBlanos if you add the NASA 1920x1080 Superview clips to a 2560x1440 timeline, you can get what you want. Scale the source to 133.3% (in the Motion effect.) Add GoPro FX Reframe, undo SuperView, zoom to 75%, turn off Mirror Egdes. So will have a 1920x1440 image with full resolution.
