Britain is in a dire state and we have these Labour clowns devoting time to which of their unqualified candidates will be the least dreadful Prime Minister. It doesn’t matter. Labour can’t fix Britain because they support everything that’s broken it.

This isn’t just about loathing Starmer although he is certainly loathsome. This is the working people rejecting an entire political class that has forced values down their throats they despise. That has mismanaged their country and made affording a very ordinary life hard. That has allowed mass immigration to ruin parts of their beloved country. The juxtaposition of the story on the left “£1 billion a year to EU” with the one on the right “no money” for defence is a stark illustration of the Remainers’ delusional folly.

The Prime Minister appointed Peter Mandelson before the vetting had been completed, vetting Mandelson failed. Starmer then said full due process was followed. THAT is misleading Parliament. I'm only holding him to the same standards to which he’s held previous Prime Ministers - that if they mislead parliament, they should resign. In these dangerous times, Britain cannot afford to have a Prime Minister who the country doesn't trust. Starmer has betrayed our national security. He should go.

First they tried to crush dissent after Southport, then it was Digital ID and abolishing jury trials, now it is the subversion and erosion of our parliamentary democracy- exactly what Brexit was supposed to protect. Keir Starmer was the Remoaner-in-Chief of the second referendum ‘People’s Vote’ campaign. He has never accepted that the British people knew better than him. His citizen-of-nowhere politics is hideously out of touch with the country. No wonder he is the most unpopular Prime Minister in history. In 2025 the UK exported more goods & services to the EU than ever before, and 19% more than it did before the referendum in 2016. The UK *also* exported more to the rest of the world than ever before. Please by all means, tell me again how leaving the EU damaged UK trade.

It is being reported that Chancellor Rachel Reeves will today argue for increasing alignment with European Union single market rules and greater development of artificial intelligence (AI) in Britain. Who will tell her she can have one or the other — but not both? While the UK is already the 3rd biggest AI power on the globe (after USA/China) the EU’s ‘prudential’ approach to regulation had already made it an AI backwater. The EU will understandably not let us pick and mix when it comes to closer alignment, which would inevitably mean our AI development coming within the dead hand of the Brussels’ regulatory ambit. She’d never give me an interview but perhaps someone from His Majesty’s Political Press Corps, which does have regular access to her, might like to mug up on this and ask her how these conflicting aims can be reconciled.

If you are in America and, rightly, feeling disappointed by Keir Starmer’s response it’s worth pointing out that only 15% of Brits think he’s doing a good job. Most of us, like you, think he is a total embarrassment.

I don’t think this was a Farage promise. This was part of the BoJo Brexit campaign which was separate from Farage. Anyway hardly matters. Far from an extra £350m a week we now spend a billion more per week on the NHS compared with the time of the 2016 Brexit referendum and nobody can see any improvement.
