On the final circuit, as they were coming to the second fence before Becher’s , Jordans was joint last.
Less than a mile later, he’s in front and goes clear after doing a 13 second furlong.

While this was obviously tongue in cheek, I actually think a lot more retrospective public scrutiny by the BHA/stewards would serve the sport and punters well. You can have that one for free, Brant (may do a poll around this for Monday's @AKBets podcast....).

Had a thought while watching racing yesterday. Wouldn't it be a great PR exercise for punters if BHA-Irish stewards/integrity team convened on Monday & pulled in all the trainers whose horses had shown abnormal improvement in the handicaps, win or lose. Need a big room, obviously

Extreme reactions to results is a problem for a lot of clubs, but particularly Man United. Carrick hasn't become a bad manager overnight. His biggest problem is a thin squad. Stretched beyond a good 12 or 13 and there's not much there.
