@adityaarsharma I never got the draw of headless WP. WordPress is, let's be real, a terrible CMS. If you were going headless, and had the choice of any CMS on the planet that supports it, why on earth would you choose WP? It makes no sense to me (a 30-year web guy with almost 20 years in WP)

Anyone here working with Headless WordPress and tired of how messy dynamic setups get? Been building something over the past week and it finally reached a point where the setup actually feels smooth instead of painful. Most headless WP stacks today still feel rough once dynamic content, SEO, previews, filters, auth, forms, etc start coming in. With this, the goal was simple: make headless WordPress feel less like maintaining two separate systems. Way faster to setup than a lot of Gatsby / Faust / traditional Next.js + WP starter approaches I’ve tried till now. At this point I genuinely feel running headless WP might become easier than managing heavily customised normal WordPress setups for many cases. Looking for people who are into headless WordPress to test it and give raw feedback before I push things further. Would anyone be interested?

@potatoslav @moustachewins Right, so if they prefer it then they accept that it's voluntary and that they might NOT come out better. Them's the risks. If you accept the positives of the system, you have to accept the negatives of it.

you’re only viewing this from your cultural perspective. a lot of servers PREFER the tipped system bc they make more money, while some would want it eliminated to make a “safe” standard wage. there isn’t even consensus amongst the workers! and tipping is still very much the norm even in states with no tipped wage!

it’s very funny to see all the people screaming “just pay a living wage!” in the comments bc… that’s what this is for? Americans already tip around this much. you were the ones that were going to go to a foreign country and not follow the cultural norm. tipping culture is not going to be “solved” by tourists refusing to tip, you’re just being an asshole.

Some restaurants have planned an automatic 20% tip for U.S. visitors. 💰🇺🇸

@TexasAnCap Yeah, honestly this shit is very easy. If someone implements something you don't like, either on their website or general business, simply stop using them. If enough people care, the market will speak and the company will either tank, or change direction. It's easy.
