Lost Dad this week, but before he left, we watched a few Sox games, some Bears pre-season, and even hit a Chicago Sky game because enjoying sports together is what we did for my entire life. I'll miss him tremendously, but I'm grateful for having had him for so many years. 🙏🏽

Dad was my coach for years in the Jackie Robinson West League, my basketball trainer before there were trainers, the dad that drove the neighborhood guys to Sat morning bowling, and the one that got me through college debt-free. The original Coach Collins turned 80 today. 🧓🏽🎂 🎉

Very proud of @GoHuskiesWBB all-time great @Davisajah for the dedication and work she's doing in her community to give back and provide opportunities for area youth. She packed DeKalb HS today with kids from 6 to 16 for a free basketball camp experience. Excellent job AD! 🏀💪🏽❤️

Remembering so many phenomenal alumnae from our AAU program. I don't recall our W/L records and didn't save the trophies. What really mattered was 100% went on to college and earned degrees. It was always about the education and opportunities. #proud #smartgirls❤️ #IHD🏀💪🏽📚👩🏻‍🎓👩🏾‍🎓

We've got a notable @GoHuskiesWBB alum in the house today as I just saw A'Jah Davis (@Davisajah) pass by the media table. I still remember how dominant she was with her rebounding and her constant double-doubles back in my younger reporting days.
