I'm fully convinced Donald Trump is responsible for Charlie Kirks' death. It just makes too much sense. The motives for the assassination make no sense. Trump wanted scandals buried in the news, and a catalyst to divide people and grab more executive power. If someone was willing to throw their life away for a political assassination, why go after a podcaster? Why not someone one higher up? Someone with actual authority and power? But why Kirk? He was one of the more moderate right-wing debaters with one of the largest platforms. He was more "morally redeemable," then say someone like Nick Fuentas, who just says as much evil shit as he can. Kirk was moderate enough that even Republicans who don't support MAGA could get behind what he was saying. Think back. What was in the news cycle right before his assassination? What was he pushing for the release off the weeks prior to his death? The Epstein Files. Trump wants those to be so buried, the story so twisted and mangled so that he can continue to deny it and avoid being held responsible. Since Kirks' death, the attention has largely shifted away from the Epstein files. They made his death and funeral so loud, giving him high government honors, flying on Air Force 2, having the president speak at his funeral in a stadium where he proceeds to give hate fueled speech. Now Trump continues to grab for more executive power. Sending troops illegally to cities, continuing to drive narratives, and pushing out deceptive statistics to divide the American people even further than we already are. Distract. Confuse. Manipulate. That's how this administration works.
