The deal being floated with Iran seems straight out of the Wendy Sherman-Robert Malley-Ben Rhodes playbook: Pay the IRGC to build a WMD program and terrorize the world. Not remotely America First. It’s straightforward: Open the damned strait. Deny Iran access to money. Take out enough Iranian capability so it cannot threaten our allies in the region. Overdue. The Sunshine Protection Act is once again in the spotlight. This is a move to have Daylight Savings Time be the permanent time as opposed to Standard Time. THIS IS THE WRONG TIME TO MAKE PERMANENT. I did a video back in 2022 (video below) discussing how this has been tried before in the U.S. back in the 1970s and also in other countries like Russia and the U.K. ALL attempts to make DST permanent was ultimately reversed for various reasons. BTW I do suggest watching the video at about 1.5 speed as I tend to talk slower in my videos. :) With DST you are trading longer summer days for considerably longer darker mornings for the year. This has lead to increased fatalities in car accidents and school children deaths as they walk to their buses/school. Our natural circadian rhythms are disrupted leading to decreased productivity and work place accidents as well as various worstening of overall health. Please share this and check out @SaveStandard as they have great information on this as well. Please do not let the Sunshine Protection Act pass. It is backed by powerful entities that stand to gain financially from longer sunshine when you get off work. They are trading greed for increased deaths and disability.

This is a mistake @realDonaldTrump Lock the clock on STANDARD TIME. Stop changing the clock twice a year, but on STANDARD TIME not Daylight Savings Time. PLEASE!

First big fail of Trump 47. Everybody says they don't want the time change. But if you live far east in a time zone, you want Daylight time. If you live far west in a zone, Standard makes sense. Sunrise after 9am is a bad idea. RFK needs to explain hormones & circadian rhythm.

Mr. President, Daylight Saving Time forces Americans to wake an hour earlier than Standard Time and does not create more daylight. Permanent Daylight Saving Time would make winter mornings dangerously dark, with some sunrises occurring as late as 9am. For the sake of public health, safety, and better sleep, please restore permanent Standard Time!
