@ZenoRogue @firebrick_games @_DefeatedSouls_ I think the real distinction is meta-progression. Roguelikes reset fully each run and roguelites keep permanent upgrades.

@DawnlessInt @firebrick_games @_DefeatedSouls_ Roguelikes tend to have long runs (3-50h), roguelites are "light" (~1h). Likes focus on using generated maps to your advantage while lites focus on random upgrades. So it seems closer to roguelite in these aspects.
