You calling me an awful human being doesn’t change the truth. Nobody said people should remain in their shortcomings forever, but don’t sit there and pretend the criticism wasn’t valid in the first place. If things were genuinely messed up, people had every right to speak up about it. That is not hatred, that is accountability. And let’s stop this habit of trying to rewrite history the moment corrections are made. Yes, they may have acknowledged the difficulties and worked to fix them, and that deserves credit. But that still does not erase the fact that people suffered through those mistakes before the correction came. The problem with some of you is that once your preferred side starts making amends, you suddenly want everyone to forget the earlier failures and attack those who spoke up. That mindset is exactly why honest conversations in this country become impossible. People should be criticised when they get things wrong and praised when they get things right. It’s really that simple. Blind defence and emotional insults won’t change that reality!
