A few years ago, when my family experienced a tragedy in our lives, many gracious people helped us get through it, many we didn't even know. Today, I am trying to pass that blessing along to a young family who has experienced an absolute tragedy. Below is a link to an account for my godson, Noah, who is brutally assaulted by his father. I’m gonna go ahead and say it: Black folks are way worse to other black folks than any form of “white supremacy” or “ray-sis-um.” It’s actually pretty rare when I get pure hatred in my DMs from a white person. However, I’m convinced if the Boquiesha fans ever saw me in the streets, they’d try to clothesline me (and probably miss because fake eyelashes and untamed wigs obstruct your vision).
