This is very personal and difficult to post. Last month I had a hemorrhagic stroke. A recent MRI has shown 2 growths in my brain. I will be meeting with a neurosurgeon this week and I will be having brain surgery in the coming weeks and will begin a treatment plan. I'm not afraid to admit that I'm scared, but I'm also up for this fight. I love covering Utah High School Sports. It's been an honor since 2005 to be one of the voices of the State. I am going to work to be back for football season. Please don't hesitate to reach out. All positive messages are welcome.

2024 Scholar Leader Athlete Award Winners 🏆

Only 12 High School football players in Utah receive this prestigious award which recognizes excellence beyond the football field. Each of these athletes was nominated because of their hard work in the classroom, & their involvement in the community. Congrats to these athletes 🙌

Had the opportunity to attend the NFF banquet this past week. It was an honor to be selected with not only some of the best players but dudes in the state! Met and heard from lots of great people! Thank you @UtahNFF 🤙🏽
