The Blood of Dawnwalker might be one of the most promising RPGs in years.
- After the prologue, you can go anywhere and do anything
- No "main quest vs side quest". Just activities you choose to engage with
- You can kill NPCs, fail quests... even fail EVERYTHING, and still finish the game
- The story adapts instead of punishing you
But here's where it gets really interesting:
Day vs Night gameplay:
- Day: social options, magic, manipulation
- Night: vampiric powers, traversal, combat
Same situation, completely different outcomes
30-day time system:
- Time advances through your decisions, not real-time
- Every choice can lock you out of other outcomes
- Ignore someone? They might be dead when you return
Main goal stays the same (save your family, overthrow a regime)
But how you get there is entirely up to you
Built by ex-The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt devs, but they’re not just making another RPG...
They’re trying to redefine what a reactive sandbox RPG looks like
