Last year was my first “paycut” year since I started trading in 2019. Each year I made significantly more than the last, until 2025. Made slightly more than half of 2024. I also bought a house and expenses went way up. Just a combination of stress by year end. That’s trading and life. Looking forward to adapting, expanding, improving, and refinancing (lmao) in 2026.

Completely lost all confidence. Once again every single trade just crushes me. Never green. Taking a step away. Maybe back posting at some point but man... what the fuck

Not the slightest clue. Every trade is wrong side. Not green once, barely even a green trade. What a miserable one today

First solid morning in a while today. Still left at noon. Pennies are extremely scarce so keeping my trades limited and dabbling elsewhere for the time being. I think not digging a hole at the open today helped a lot as that's been my thing lately

@jd_tradez Exactly, no one wants to do anything, no triggers or very short lived pops. 1 or 2 names that slow grind with breaks in liquidity. Frustrating out there

@DayTraderDex By far one of the slowest small cap markets yet, reminds me of 2022-2023. Ballers barely do anything, most names fade on low volume and d2,d3 breakouts are also low volume like smx. Not much to work with. Small DD for me right now just tryna not give back last month gains.

Worst small cap market I've ever traded continues to get worse day by day. Feels more like the end of small cap trading than a phase tbh

@DayTraderDex Slower less rangey names have been working for me. Just have to be patient with them

Somehow didn't get wrecked with Schwab orders taking 7 seconds to fill the first hour this morning. Made a small day and leaving. All I could've asked for today. Enjoy the weekend.

Hello fellow degenerates trading the half day Friday after Thanksgiving.

Felt like there was a 1 hour period today where nothing moved. Chopped myself up on both sides during that but solid day otherwise. Felt much more connected but also went into today 0 bias instead of looking to long everything. Made equal P/L short and long. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

@trader_samk Agreed, better. I get trapped in a long bias/ dip buy mindset and end up missing great shorts. Lots to work on

Rollercoaster day. Nice green day, gave it all back and went red, grinded back to a small green day. Over traded for sure out of frustration once I went red. Just underperforming and making it harder on myself day after day. Been plenty of opportunity, I just can't sync up.

Rough morning of about 10 round trip trades. Able to make a small day out of it tho. Golfing for the first time in a while. Haven't swung a club in like 2 months. Should be as rough as my trading!

Fuckin a. Went deep red twice today. Back to green and getting out of here. Flat day, small week. Likely more shit action to come. Have a great weekend!

Taking what I can get and running. Been more profitable on the short side the past week or so. Easiest if you don't have to deal with SSR which a lot of my mains were not SR this morning. Just continue to take it easy until we shift. Seems like everyone is struggling to some degree

Tough to sit at the desk today. Small trades and staying cautious. Left at like 11am. Getting a ton done around the house tho!

The usual day for me. Dig a hole, dig out of a hole, get a decent small day, leave. Happy to still be able to get something out of the day when it's like this. Could probably cautiously trade the afternoon and have a better day but I'd rather get shit done around the house.

Another week of trash. Hopefully things change but been the same action for a while now. Took my scraps and left. Too easy to give it back, not worth it to try for bigger days tbh
