Today is our Ward sister Christine Gallagher’s final shift as she finally retiring from the NHS. Words are not enough to express how much she will be missed as we have worked with her for over 35 years.  She has been a credit to her work colleagues and the ward.

What a fantastic afternoon on D6 for 25 of our learners in gaining knowledge on Sepsis, Diabetes & ANTT, thanks to Emily, Emma & Pricsa for giving their time, as well as Esther Hayes for arranging it. Our learners came from various of wards with positive feedback.

Our board on Ward D6 has been completed by two of our 1st year students Ahlan Mohamed & Alifa Begum for Ramadan Their off duty has been adjusted so they have food and drink with their family after sunset.

Our lovely HCA Marie got a special delivery today for not only her birthday but her retirement this Friday after 23years service! Thankfully she’s coming back to us after a well earned break and holiday ! Enjoy and Thankyou for all you do for our ward! Shoutout to hubby paul!
