Dbd comp scene is so toxic man. "Best team in world" vs "pub bot" guess being toxic survivor swf is popular again in DBD. Full circle. Why I don't watch other DBD streams. Wasn't enough to make a random casual public player rage quit I guess.

@raymayln @DeadbyDaylight Imagine the queue takes 16 minutes. You play 1 survivor game and after that the queue is 6 minutes. Play another and the queue would in theory be ready but you are still in game so then when you are done you instantly find a lobby.

@bungie765 @DeadbyDaylight I mean they have to make it fair some way. They probably look at how many games people play per day on average and how many points they make and give that amount. Some people probably weren't gonna play anyway and now will get 2 mil. Hard to make it fair for everyone.

@DeadbyDaylight The biggest issue for killer in 2v8 is that we/they can make more BPs in 1v4 due to BP offerings. That & the 2v8 queue times make 1v4 more appealing to killer players.

After another two-day test, we're back with a follow-up, starting with the breakdown of Killer wait times in 2v8:
◽ 2 bots, no incentives: 13m08s on average.
◽ 1 Bots, 400% BP incentive + Triple XP boost: 10m40s on average.
◽ 0 Bots, 400% BP incentive + Double XP Boost: 11m54 sec on average.
The above represent averages, and specific times may vary depending on the time of day or the region.
Takeaways
◽️ While wait times have increased by an average of 1 min with the removal of all bots, we know this alleviated some of the frustrations experienced by players, so the bots will remain left out of lobbies for the rest of this iteration of 2v8
◽️ In 1v4, Killer wait times have decreased by 1 min since the beginning of 2v8, while Survivor wait time increased by 30 sec.
Next Steps
◽️ We'll keep the current incentives (400% BP Bonus for Survivors + Double XP Boost) until the end of the Game Mode.
◽️ We will not add bots back in the lobbies.
◽️ We'll be sending out an in-game survey tomorrow to ask players if they want to see the Game Mode extended past February 25. Bots would remain left out of lobbies.

📢 Following tests with bots in the first 48 hours of 2v8, we agree that the addition of 2 bots has not helped enough (Average queue time only improved by 3 minutes, from 18 to 15 minutes) while frustrating players who do not enjoy playing with bots. Starting tomorrow (Friday, Feb 14th @ 11am ET) we will test the following: ◽ Triple XP bonus for ALL players, ALL modes. ◽ Increase the Bloodpoint incentive for Survivors to +400% (in both 2v8 and 1v4) to make the role more enticing. ◽ Reduce 2v8 Survivor bots to 1 per lobby, max. On Monday (Feb 17th) we will: ◽ Analyze the weekend’s gameplay data and share the results of this test. ◽ Deactivate ALL bots in 2v8 for a period of 2 days to gather comparative data We will follow up on that test later in the week with results and further next steps. Please continue to share your valuable feedback once you’ve had the chance to experience these changes.
