@ShitpostRock2 My biggest problem with Elden Ring is that your exploration is rewarded by tedium and items you can't use because you don't have the correct build and need to upgrade it all over again. You're effectively being negatively rewarded for exploring.

Gym bros and sports nerds have been trying to revive eugenics because they want to make physical activity into a math equation. This way they can claim superiority because they're big and tall. "2+2=4 every time, so my wide frame and big muscle mean I always better" The fact is, if you don't know what you're doing it doesn't matter how strong you are or how hard you go. This guy could've gone all out and it wouldn't have stopped anything you see here. If you make the wrong choice, muscling won't make it the right choice. There's some things that are a 2+2=4 and it's got to do with some basic things from physics that add variables to any situation. "If we push into each other, and I change the angle I'm pushing at, you will fall down unless you adjust". Most people don't know how to adjust.

@sullivan_mma I've trained BJJ for 4 years, Judo for 8 months ago. BJJ doesn't prepare for you to have real grit. The fact she's a woman and likely a white belt makes it more likely she'll lose in a real fight. BJJ gives her a chance, but I think most times the guy wins.

@stomjong You're not exactly wrong. I love Belgium's red brick buildings but most people buy the absolute cheapest version of any materials, and architects. Part of it is the taxes, but also the fact that the people are too cheap. So it comes out looking not too great.
