@DcGang_ I’m not blaming the QB lol but if you can’t accept that Allen should shoulder the blame for a 4-interception overtime loss then when can we blame the QB? All I hear about is when he goes off & his D lets down but why not recognize the other way around?

Im not saying winning or losing is the sole thing that makes a QB what he is, but I ain’t buying this whole “they had no chance with those rosters” when they both won MVP on those rosters. Playoffs is just 1 game elimination so it don’t matter if you’re MVP or Sam Darnold. It’s 1 game and mistakes are amplified. Allen threw 4 picks in the playoff loss last year & it still came down to the wire. His roster had no chance to win with that QB, how bout that?

@tomstakes I see what you’re saying but Allen had Mahomes and the chiefs beat. Defense gave up a score with 13 seconds and he never saw the ball again. He’s had a bottom level WR unit for multiple years now. He wasn’t winning with Khalil Shakir being his WR1

@DcGang_ I just can’t agree man. Maybe not the Chargers but the Bills and Ravens been top seeded playoff teams several times with those QBs. Household names don’t make great teams. They’ve been great teams and couldn’t beat the Chiefs. Never all one guy’s fault. They’re all great QBs.

@tomstakes And I agree… this isn’t me trying to downplay Hurts btw. I think people just tend to overlook the entire roster when evaluating QBs. Lamar, Josh Allen and Herbert for example. None of those guys had a shot to win the SB last year with those rosters but they catch all the blame

@DcGang_ It’s also not hard to see a QB’s talent regardless of the team he’s on. It’s not always the supporting talent making the play, or hindering the play of the QB.
