@NickiJhabvala In 2022 we were dead last in club evaluations by players. Seems like ancient history now. Hell just thinking about Snyder now doesn’t make me nearly as angry as it did a year ago

In 2022, the Commanders had only 15 people in personnel and scouting, and only 5 full-time staffers on their athletic training/medical staff. Now they have 26 people in personnel/scouting and 15 people in player health and performance.

Some WR angst exists out there among Commanders fans. Knowing David Blough will implement a Ben Johnson style system, pretty interesting the Bears had an 11-6 season last year and no pass catcher even had 800 yards in 2025.

Washington essentially HANDED the 49ers a HOF left tackle for a Sea Salt bagel and a can of Fresca. Now Lynch and Kyle are all up in their feelings over a player they all know they are eventually going to RELEASE! This is getting REALLY petty! Other players WILL take notice.

@GrantPaulsen If you want to protect him- get him another receiver that can get open and run the right routes. Tate will protect him better than another guard

(5) Even though fans won't love it, drafting a starting left guard would actually be smart. Same with drafting a plug-and-play starting center. Anything the Commanders do to protect Jayden Daniels is an investment worth making. With the left tackle, right guard and left tackle spots in good hands, there are only two positions where Washington doesn't have a stalwart waiting in the wings. Could Chris Paul or Brandon Coleman have a big season at guard? Sure. Might Nick Allegretti be the answer at center? Possibly. But taking a stud at either position would be practical. I just wouldn't take a IOL at seven because it feels like that would be a reach.

@AdamSchefter No team should have to play Sunday and then Wednesday. This should be a game featuring only teams who either play Thursday night the week prior or are coming off a BYE.

NFL now is exploring playing a game on Thanksgiving Eve as early as this season. This year this would be Wednesday, Nov. 25.

There is NO way that modern shipping and trucking companies are making rational decisions sending rigs into the teeth of weather like this. I can't believe a 24 or 48 hour delay of shipment is more expensive than totalling a rig, and having to drag it (and it's contents) out of ditch. Truckers, please help me understand.

@czabe In the pre draft walk up it was always is can this guy handle the physicality of an nfl season. We’re starting to see that answer. Electric when he can play but how much do we have to pay a backup now? Answer is play him and plan for injuries.

Well... what now for the "he's gotta play" crowd on Daniels. In *theory* that left arm could snap in two, and he'll be ready/fine for next season (though not ideal). It's not one of his wheels, or his gun. So if it calms down in a week or two, you wanna roll him out... again?

@kevinsheehanDC If he plays vs Minny and plays well down the stretch, I think you question on starting him in finale or maybe last 2 games. Just need to see him healthy and playing well going into offseason. Flush this year and go back for it next year.

Practicing this week means a likely Jayden return at Minnesota 12/7. This Sunday vs Denver is 4 weeks from the injury so it’s possible but my guess, at Minnesota for hopefully the final 5 games of the season.
