"During a company event at a Colplay concert I offered my head of HR a Murray Mint which she accepted. Whilst singing along to Yellow she accidentally swallowed the mint, and I was forced to perform the Heimlich maneuver just as the Jumbotron camera focused on us."
When Santi Carzola rejoined his boyhood club Real Oviedo back in 2023, he offered to play for free, to try and help his club get back to La Liga. The rules stated that playing for free wasn’t allowed, so he took the minimum wages that were allowed, he just wanted to help his club.
Today, at 40 years of age, he scored the opening goal in a victory that saw Real Oviedo make it back to La Liga for the first time in 24 years.
A true fairytale ending to a fantastic career. ❤️
Race Across The World. I love it. Alyways have. Brian & Melvyn are brothers and love each other and I love them too. They support a proper football club like I do and that is Derby County. #india 🐏#raceacrosstheworld#dcfc#dcfcfans
A word on this guy by the way.
Sondre Langås joined Derby in January in a move that even surprised Norway's manager.
He's been carrying a serious knee injury over the last 10 games, yet has been an absolute warrior at the back.
He deserves so much credit 🐏 #DCFC
Derby County survive.
Oxford United stay up.
Portsmouth stay up.
All three clubs promoted from League One last season survive.
Jim Smith would be proud 🦅

After playing the final part of the season on 1 knee to help Derby survive, Sondre Langas will have surgery on Tuesday.
What a signing he's been. Warrior. #dcfc
So here we are on the eve of the final game of 2024-25.
we will pay homage to those legends of the 74-75 team who made Derby County the Champions of England for the second time.
on the final whistle we will clap off the pitch the team of 24-25.
a lot has happened in those fifty years but one thing has never changed and that is the support for our team !
We don’t need success to bring us together in our thousands, we don’t need hundreds of millions of pounds spending on our team, our support stays constant and strong as it always has been, we get behind who ever is wearing that shirt with a Ram on it, we see them through the good times and the bad times.
As usual I will be there with my dad and my son, sixty years ago my dad was there at the BBG with his dad, in sixty years time my son will be there with his son, it’s how it is, it’s a journey, a rite of passage, it’s emotion, it’s tribal !
so let’s get behind our club and those lads wearing the shirt now and those lads who wore it fifty years ago and show them our support and let them hear our voices, the great thing with football is that we close on one chapter and look forward to the next.
Once a Ram always a Ram on the pitch or in life 👍🐏❤️💪

Her operation will be Monday. This is how I found her this morning.
So happy so know she can sleep with us and rest even if the pain is immense.
It’s a sad feeling but I’m also happy she is here. 😔🥰 (8/8)
My dog ran away and my mom was super worried, looking for him everywhere... 30 minutes later she received this video of him having the time of his life with some strangers
