He lifted his hand, flipping them off just long enough to be seen.
“C’mon,” he added, tipping his beer, “at least get my good side.”

Eddie lifts his hands slowly, palms out, he’s stepping back without giving in. “Alright… alright, I get it. You run the show.”
He lets his shoulders drop, a quiet exhale escaping. “I’m not trying to mess with that. Just… keep me around, yeah?”
