“This wasn’t supposed to hurt me, only other people!”

“I voted for Trump every election. We never thought it would come affect us.”🤔

Andrew Yang is calling it "The Fuckening." That's his actual word for it. And honestly it fits. A CEO of a publicly traded tech company told him directly: "We're firing 15% now. Another 20% in two years. Another 20% after that." There are 70 million white collar workers in this country. Yang projects 20 to 50% of those jobs gone within a few years. The low end of that is 14 million people. The entire 2008 crisis wiped out 8.7 million. The difference this time is the jobs don't come back. A recession ends and companies rehire. This time the work still gets done. It just gets done by software. The position itself stops existing. Nothing expands margins like replacing a $379K employee with a $200/month subscription. We track it all at layoffhedge.com. 58 companies. 254,000 people. And climbing. Yang is writing about what's coming. We're counting what's already here.

“Apparently I’m an idiot.” Woman at Pennsylvania gas station who voted for Trump rips into him, calls him “a worthless pile of sh*t”.

This is the Heritage Foundation who authored Trump’s Project 2025 No women in sport or academia No votes for American women No voice in politics or societal issues Do them dishes and desist basically 153 million women to be disenfranchised by morons

I honestly cannot explain this. Before the strikes on Iran, Republican voters were overwhelmingly opposed to U.S. involvement in a conflict between Israel and Iran. A survey by YouGov and The Economist found that only 23% of Republicans supported U.S. military involvement, while 53% opposed it. However, attitudes shifted almost immediately after Trump ordered U.S. airstrikes on Iran. A survey conducted after Trump’s bombing campaign showed support climbing to 85% among Republicans. For me, this rapid reversal illustrates one thing — Trump has transformed the Republican Party into a cult, where people follow not principles, but a man.

President Trump on Rep. Neal Dunn's initial terminal diagnosis: "He would be dead by June." Speaker Johnson: "Okay, that wasn't public."
