if you work across multiple machines, highly recommend using Grok Build with its subagents to manage SSH tunnels and interact with tmux. We are working on making this experience more native, think of it as deploying or registering all your machines 🔜

additionally we are working on the laziness and have a few harness side improvements which we plan on rolling out when we get evals + model improvements on the way

we also finished full rollout of X search and native web search tools, so your agent can pull live information from X. The laziness fixes should also be live for everyone, this is an interim step where we detect laziness on the harness level and probe the model to push forward

regarding usage limits: we identified and fixed a regression in our prompt caching for Grok Build which lead to: - faster token burn - slower grok build response times We have alerting and regression tests in place, we will also give out extra credits to all users.

Grok-code-fast-1 is now out and available for everyone to use 🚀🏎️💨 When I joined the coding team, the team was just 3 people and we very quickly built a model which was SOTA on SWEBench. But as things go, in the real world benchmarks matter less. Over the last few months we approached the modelling + data + infra perspective from a different lens, putting developers and users first over everything else. This required us to tune the data recipe, get the infra in place to do a lot of rollouts and create a set of grounded evals which was powered by both human judgement and an in-house auto-evaluation framework that captured real world usability.
