Cadet of the Year Reflection 💚 As the year draws to a close, as with all good things, my year as County Cadet of the Year must come to an end. Here is the Reflection I gave at the County Carol Service about my year as the 2025 Cadet of the Year for Greater Manchester. 🎄✨

Carol Service 🎄✨ Today I attended the Greater Manchester Carol Service at Rochdale Parish Church, where I got to give a reading, a reflection on my year as COTY, and handover to Gracie and Evie- our 2026 COTY and Deputy. Such a great service! 🎅

Congratulations to our amazing incoming County Cadet of the Year team! Gracie (COTY) and Evie (Deputy)- I hope you have a brilliant year! Best of luck to you both. It was lovely to be part of the competition yesterday and see all our amazing Cadets and Badgers compete 💚🏆

Emergency Responder 🚑 November also saw 2 other COTYs and I complete our Emergency Responder course in Stockport! It was a great course and I’m excited to use my new clinical skills on events 💚

County Awards Presentation Evening 🏆 Attending this special event was amazing- I handed out awards and received both my Gold DofE, and the Badger Sett of the Year Award, on behalf of Wigan Badgers! 🦡🌟 💚💚💚

Lady Mayor’s Show and Remembrance Parade 🇬🇧 Last month, I had the honour of attending these two amazing events down in London- they were truly inspiring and such surreal experiences. Lest we forget 🌹💚

Manchester Pride 2025 💚🏳️‍🌈 In August I attended Manchester Pride for yet another year- always a great event where we treat lots of patients and learn lots of new skills and knowledge from MRT and HCPs 🚑

Wigan Badgers First Aid Weekend! 🌟 Well done to our badgers who completed their First Aid Badger badge and Badger First Aider badge this weekend! Was lovely helping out 💚🦡

St John’s Day 2025 💚🎉 On Saturday, I had the privilege of attending Mansion House and St Paul’s Cathedral, being part of the cadet flag party. It was 32°☀️ but an unforgettable experience! It was great to be reunited with the amazing COTYs, represent NW and celebrate SJA. 🌟

Last weekend I had the pleasure of helping out on a cadet/badger weekend! Cadet Leader 1 and Grand Prior/Super Badger subjects were completed by young people from across the North West (some even joined us from the NE). Huge well done to everyone- excited for camp next! 😁💚

Great Manchester Run ‘25 🏃‍♀️ Today I was at the Great Manchester Run 2025! A great day in the sunshine having an amazing time and learning lots, while treating any runners who needed us. Well done to all! #cadetsonevents 💚🚑🏃‍♀️

VE DAY 80 🇬🇧 What an honour to attend Westminster Abbey alongside other RCOTYs and our NCOTY on the 80th anniversary of VE Day! It was such a privilege to hand out white roses to World War II Veterans and I had a great time with such amazing people. 💚 Lest we forget. ❤️

Organ Donor Awards Ceremony 🎖️ On Thursday, I had the honour of attending the Organ Donor Awards in GM, an emotional day honouring those who have saved lives through organ donation, and their families. Thank you to everybody involved- such a beautiful ceremony. 💚🕊️

Gold DofE Practice Expedition ‘25 🏕️ I spent this Easter weekend completing my Gold Practice with @SJADofE Such a great 5 days making new friends from across the country and having new unforgettable experiences. A huge well done and thank you to everyone involved! 🥾🌄💚✨
