Had a ton of fun competing in the first live event for CFB25! @EASPORTSCollege To finally just get a live event win is a pretty big accomplishment and this Heisman House Honorary Key signed by Reggie Bush is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen given out in a tourney. Thank you to everyone that brought back CFB25 and allowing for there to be a competitive scene in year 1! Can’t wait for what Competitive Gaming for CFB has coming!

I really do believe the average player cares way too much about macros on defense. On offense, they are great easy to setup too. I would say a MUST need especially if you are on the road in RTCFP or Dynasty.

After playing CFB27 for a lil over a week Tier 1 Oregon Texas Tier 2 ND Miami Ole Miss Everyone else I would consider to be a pretty far tier below these 5 teams.

To build on this, I've listed general bugs I've found in the game. I have actually had a lot of fun playing CUT H2H on this game. The comp tournament gameplay is pretty toxic, especially with stiff arm + formation shifting, but I like that you can play WAY more defense on this game compared to prior years. Either way, here are the bugs I've encountered: -Formation shifting allows unlimited hot routes -Formation shifting with different personnel (ex. -2 TEs in bunch x nasty) is very glitched. ive had several questions from people who bought my ebook and are subbing in a TE at WR and not getting 2 TE formation shift options. -Defensive packages still reset when they no huddle -I’ve noticed several defenses such as C1 hole or cover 2 shell defenses will just randomly line up completely different against the same exact offensive formation. (Ex cover 2 shell and they line up like cover 3) -Some of my Macros on defense will just leave off adjustments (ex. Zone strategy or no spread on the d line) -Macros on defense will leave off several player’s macro assignments when they no huddle -Green timing catching, I have this feature set to 5+ yards on offense. Ive had several plays where my pass catcher bumps/chips against a defender and it won’t give me a catch meter for passes 5+ yards. (ex. my TE chipping on a streak route) -Green timing catching (defense), I have mine set for 0 yards on defense and I’ve greened timed a couple D line picks but most of the time I do not get a meter on these. -When I run a nickel set and I'm playing someone formation shifting from trips to bunch, I have to flip my defense. When I flip my defense, my slot corner rarely flips. It’s completely random on if he physically moves to the opposite side of the field. -The flipped routes glitch is still in the game -Speed boosting feels slightly worse but is definitely in the game.

S/O to the CUT team for making sure every DB they release is a minimum of 6'2" Makes my gameplay experience much more enjoyable

3 Tips To Help Setup Macros In CFB27. 1. Front 4/7 Macro. - You should have a macro setup to make sure your dline is always set in the game way. Examples of this would be (Spread Dline) (Texas 4 Man) (Show Blitz Lbs) - These are all minor adjustments that make a huge impact on plays. Saves you 4-6 pre-snap adjustments clicks per play. 2. Contain Macro. (Picture Below) - QB Scrambling is one of the most frustrating concepts to stop. - You can easily contain JUST one side (would recommend the throwing arm side of the QB) 3. Settings. - You DO NOT need to set every setting within a Macro. - If you leave a box UNSELECTED it will default to what your coaching adjustment is!

One Of My FAVORITE Settings In CFB27. Controlled Player Art: ON - This allows your user to understand what assignment he's supposed to be in without pulling up the full playart by holding RT/R2 -I've found this setting to help me a ton with quick adjusting

I will forever die on this hill. The CFB/Madden community is by far the best community within any video game. In my personal experience with EA, they are by far the best major video game company at being open to feedback and making changes. Credit to the community for this.

@polksosa1 100% not sure what plays those are right now. I’ve also been pretty aggressive holding my left stick up in the pocket in this game

@Dcroft Do you think it’s certain plays that cancel the auto drop back? I see your QB look like he never does auto drop back animation.

The more I play CFB27, the more and more I realize good pocket negates has a massive affect on THP and TAC. Like yesterday, this isn't a super flashy clip but minor pocket movements like this is difference between getting 7 and getting sacked.

It's early and no one will see this... I didn't want to say this while the Dynasty community was fighting for its life, but now that they've won the war... EA absolutely nailed the launch gameplay in CFB 27.
