@Chad_Floyd @albhood Merchants had the best draft list in town and really thoughtful food. Lots of connoisseurs will disagree, but I think Biggs has really great bbq for anywhere morning KC. Zen Zero is the place to go for Asian fusion. Wheatfields for breakfast.

This is like the time I made it through 4 of 6 interviews for a job and then they ghosted me for six months, only to tell me after that time that they decided not to fill the position. And I did 10-15 hours of "homework" for that interview along the way. Never again.

today i gave the first test since i took over teaching 6th grade math. we spent a ton of time reviewing first. and man. one of my students is a little black boy who really struggles and gets discouraged. but today i heard him whisper “i feel like im getting smarter” 🥺🥺

it's so easy to realize that while the violence from hamas is unjustifiable, it is also violence that was provoked by decades of occupation. you're not lessening the severity of the violence if you acknowledge the root causes of the situation.

I mention this in my post today-but the Apo game threw us off on the defense, the truth is…they’ve been…good. Plus, the Pitt stat is misleading cause after the first two drives the D allowed 3 points.
This appears to be the competent defense fans have been begging for.
