There are people who support each other and instantly followback which i usually do if it matches my hobbies, line of work or even shared common interest, even memes. However, not many people do m, they may have 20k followers and yet they only follow 300-500. Which I also understand, but i also feel its psychological that number of followers should always be massively higher than the number of accounts you follow.
