Lately I keep seeing the same thing happen over and over. Every week some new story pops up and everyone online jumps on it. One week it’s a CEO taking a hat from a kid, another week it’s someone in power caught cheating, and now it’s the “Phillies Karen” yelling about a baseball. It doesn’t feel random anymore, it feels like a setup meant to make people angry. It reminds me of that Black Mirror show episode “Hated in the Nation,” but playing out in real life. And when I look at the Phillies woman, she looks almost too much like the “Karen” stereotype. I can’t shake the feeling that these things are staged, because it just doesn’t make sense that every single week there’s always someone new for people to hate. It's all a show to distract us. Someone needs to keep an eye on Bill Gates.

There is zero difference between desiring to obey the Mosaic Laws and desiring to live a righteous life according to the Word Of God. They are synonyms.

@rabbriansamuel Agree, fulfill doesn't mean did away with. A desire to obey God is the result of a changed heart. The fruit of salvation, not the means. Even Abraham was saved by his faith, but because he believed God, he obeyed. You can't strive to follow Christ by walking in the opp direction

@rhauck777 @rabbriansamuel This is talking about Abraham& his seed, which is Christ. Paul made this very clear in Galatians 3& also Romans 9. It's not this secular state that blesses the world, it's Christ. Most of that "Israel" curse His name, therefore they curse themselves

It’s interesting to study, isn’t it? I think the best explanation I’ve heard through the years is the whole Hebrew economy came into the existence for one single purpose, to be a delivery system of the Messiah to the world. Paul tells us that they are an example to us in many respects as well. But there was nothing special about Abraham outside of the fact that he believed God. And like all of us he had a hard time getting there with clarity. But this was God‘s choice, an arbitrary choice, just like he arbitrarily chose the whole world in Jesus Christ. We certainly didn’t earn it. We don’t deserve it, but God chose us in Christ from before the foundation of the world!❤️

So many people misunderstand why God chose Israel in the Bible. It wasn’t because they were the holiest nation or the most deserving. It was because God wanted to reveal Himself, His justice, His mercy, His faithfulness, through their story. That’s why we see a distinction in Scripture. Yes, Israel was corporately chosen as a nation. But not every individual within Israel had faith. From the wilderness generation that died outside the Promised Land, to Elijah’s day when only 7,000 refused to bow to Baal, the pattern is clear: within the chosen people, only a remnant truly believed. Paul picks this up in Romans 9–11. “Not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel.” There’s the physical nation, and then there are those of faith, the true Israel. That’s why he uses the olive tree picture. Natural branches (Israel) were broken off because of unbelief. Wild branches (Gentiles) were grafted in by faith. But the warning is if you boast against the natural branches, you too can be cut off. The point isn’t that Israel has fallen forever and the Church replaced them. The point is that Israel’s story mirrors all of us. We all rebel. We all need mercy. We all stand only by faith. And God isn’t done with national Israel. Zechariah 12:10 and Matthew 23:39 show a future moment when a remnant in the city of Jerusalem will finally look on the One they pierced and believe. Not because they suddenly became better, but because God is faithful to His covenant. That’s why hardening your heart against Israel is spiritually dangerous. If you see them only as enemies instead of part of God’s plan, you may find yourself on the wrong side of His purposes. The lesson is simple… stay humble. Keep your faith alive. Don’t boast in your place on the tree, because it’s only grace that keeps you there.

@rabbriansamuel I think your perception is twisted by a chosen mentality & goes against scripture. Unless you think Paul& Christ were liars. There is no difference between a Jew and a gentile (gal 3:16-29), yet you insist Jews get a free pass because of their bloodline?
