@LK72264436 Netanyahu openly admitted he sabotaged any reconciliation efforts between the PLO and Hamas which would've created a moderate government that would've negotiate a final settlement with Israel. That is the reality whether you want to cope with it or not.
English

@LK72264436 Hamas had shifted away from its hardboiled ideology since the 2nd Intifada. Their revised 2017 charter stated that they rightfully view the entire region as Palestinians but would accept a solution of a state in the WB and Gaza....
English

If the Israeli leaders actually want peace then they would’ve left the West Bank and stop colonizing it while making life difficult for the Palestinians. But it’s clear that Israel’s current goal is full annexation.
Palestinian Girl@Palestinia12961
To get the best sweets in Hebron I need to go through two checkpoints. My father told us as kids to always smile to the soldiers and greet them, this will reduce the chance of you being shot. So I smiled and said the first word in Hebrew I have ever learned: “Shalom” Peace.
English

@LK72264436 Actually, the percentage of Palestinians who believe that Israel should exist is at close to 40%. The subduing of the PLO to Israel and the vast majority of violence from the West Bank being against the occupation forces rather than toward the state debunk this idiotic narrative.
English

@DeAmazingKai Any survey shows that while majority of them support two states, only at best 15% agree that Israel has a right to exist. Because supporting two states is just the way for their end goal - palestine from the river to the sea.
English

@LK72264436 The more they will fight back. Murdering protestors and beating up children in the 1st Intifada created Hamas. Murdering protestors in the 2nd Intifada led to the rise of suicide bombings. Occupying the West Bank exploded the shooting attacks of more than 7000 cases last year.
English

@LK72264436 The lack of the making of rockets, infiltration attempts even during the peak of terror of 7000 attacks in 2024 completely proved my point. And no, none of Israeli crackdown on terrorism in the West Bank ever worked in the long term cause the more you brutalize a people...
English

@LK72264436 Not piss off the IDF. The PLO factions that involved in terrorism during the 2nd intifada were very much splinters such as the PFLP, DFLP, and AAMB that splited from Fatah. You are talking out of your ass cause you are an IDIOT who KNOWS nothing of the region nor its conflict.
English

@ChalieStar613 To be unable to halt the attacks of the more popular Hamas faction.
English

@ChalieStar613 Cause Israel didn't left it for peace. 500 IDF soldiers were killed in Gaza during the 2nd Intifada and Ariel Sharon knew he had to cut his losses, and so the withdrawal. Israel also witheld funds and military support for the PLO that led the unpopular entity...
English

@LK72264436 Even Hamas had reconciliation attempts with the PLO post the 2007 Gaza civil war and would've been able to eventually create a coalition government that would've been able to negotiate with Israel for a final 2ss. All of this was sabotaged by Israel eventually.
English

@LK72264436 In general with less than 10 attempts for rocket firings and infiltration terrorist attacks proves that the vast majority of Palestinians are not somehow death cult members that want to topple Israel as a state....
English

@cleopost97981 @Palestinia12961 Yes, not allowing them to return cause that would ruin the entirety of the ethnic hegemony of Israel. Gunning down thousands of Palestinian farmers trying to return to their lands for no reason led to the rise of Fedayeen terrorism raids near the Israeli borders.
English

@DeAmazingKai @Palestinia12961 Yes this is the next part of the story, it's understandable that the country would not allow them return, they left supporting the Arab coalition that was to destroy Israel, that started a war and lost, all thru history, you start a war and lose you live with the consequences
English

Every Palestinian carries the scars of the Nakba.
Most of us don’t have pictures nor proofs.
Our history is told by our great grandparents.
For years nobody believed us.
Generations of Israelis grew up without knowing what happened to us.
Later, people like Benny Morris exposed some of the atrocious done by the Israeli army.
Still my personal story from my mother’s side was denied.
Only 4 years ago Israel finally admitted we were right.
It was a little triumph for us, when after 74 years our story was finally acknowledged.
English

@cleopost97981 @Palestinia12961 "Declaration of Independence" You mean that non legally binding document? Maybe ask the Confederates why slavery existed when the US's declaration says "All men are created equal// with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"
English

@DeAmazingKai @Palestinia12961 BS Ben gurion and other leaders didn't urge the Arabs to stay and live together. The Israeli Declaration of Independence explicitly called on Arab السكان to remain and be part of the state.
English

@Sy8799465978734 @Palestinia12961 "Arabs in Israel". Ok? We are talking about the Palestinians living in East Jerusalem where a large portion of them cannot speak Hebrew nor are willings to renounce their other nationalities to become Israeli citizens. Also what's wrong with them wanting their own states?
English

@DeAmazingKai @Palestinia12961 Yes you are using Grok
Nearly all Arabs in Israel speak basic Hebrew.
The reality is it they want to genuinely become Israeli and pledge and implement allegiance to Israel they would be successful.
Their allegiance lies with the PA, and the people of WB.
That's the issue.
English

@nimitano Distant presence due to Jewish existence within ancient Judea doesn't give any claims to modern land rights and especially colonization. The West Bank is entirety within the ownership of the Palestinians and any Israeli continuous occupation, apartheid, settlement is illegal.
English

@DeAmazingKai What do you mean by past? Nothing is past. Our whole history, religion and sequent presence is in this land. Why would a people give up his land and roots for someone else to take over? This is the per se definition of ethnic cleansing
