📚 Research Agendas for a Legacy-heavy Field: An effective research agenda must consider the slow deployment of new cryptography. abhi emphasized that advanced functionalities can be enabled for legacy/standardized cryptography, without waiting for bespoke schemes to grow.

That said, the process becomes expensive because mutually distrustful parties must come together to agree on certain things. But what if we introduce a trusted 'pillar' so it becomes a lot faster?"
