Last night entertained by Traditional Greek Dance, which includes smashing plates. Today we scaled the Acropolis in Athens. We saw the Parthenon, built for Athena, goddess of wisdom & strategy & symbol of democracy. @DeKalbDMS @DeKalbDCCUSD @EF

The Parthenon has been damaged through the years, from Crusaders to enemies of Ottoman Turks. Many of these damaged pieces are in a nearby museum on display. @DeKalbDMS @DeKalbDCCUSD @EF

Last day in Greece, went on cruise to 3 islands-Hydra, Poras, Aegina. Visited an Eastern Orthodox Church. Greece is a wonderful country with welcoming people. Traveling is great to see other cultures, but makes you appreciate what you have at home. @DeKalbDMS @DeKalbDCCUSD @EF
