Coaches victorious in the annual coaches vs wrestlers basketball game!

Fun night of whirleyball last night. Thank you team parents!!!

Thanks to the hard work of President Mary A Dempsey and the Advancement Department, and due to the generosity of so many in the @DePaulPrep community, construction on the new Athletic Complex begins!! Can’t wait to provide our Rams state of the art facilities!

Congrats to Nico Trautman! He will be Wreslting for 5th place today at the IWCOA Frosh/Soph state tournament. He is the first wrestler for DePaul to ever place at this tournament .

Wahtola finishes the season with 4th place at the state tournament . 2x all state.

With that win Hunter will be wrestling for third place later and he got his 100th career win!

Wahtola wins by tech fall in the quarters. He will wreslte in the semifinals tomorrow night. For the second year in a row he is a state placer !

Hunter Wahtola wins his sectional semifinal match and is a state qualifier for the 3rd year in a row. Colin Bosak and Nico Trautman need to win their next match to advance to state.

DePaul wrestlers today at Regionals: Parker 3rd, Dillow 1st, Maschek 2nd, Bosak 1st, Miller 2nd, Trout 2nd, Sendre 1st, Lerner 3rd, Trautman 2nd, Wahtola 1st. All advance to the IHSA Sectional in Antioch!

Congrats to our JV CCL placers: A.Parker 3rd place, C. Racoma 6th place , S. O’Connor 4th place and J. Coar 4th place.

Wahtola takes 2nd losing to the #2 ranked wrestler in 3a 4-1.

Bosak will take 6th at the CCL tournament after injury defaulting his 5th place match. Trautman will go for 5th and Wahtola will wrestle for 1st.

Two former DePaul Prep wrestling greats, Mikekal McClarin and Max Rosen, met up at the American (Max) vs Lehigh (Mikekal) dual meet today. Great to see it.
