Jakande was Awolowo's boy, Ajasin was Awolowo's boy, Bola Ige was Awolowo's boy. They all ruled well in their respective states. Aregbesola was Tinubu's commissioner, Osinbajo was His commissioner, Fashola was his staff, they all are now leaders. He's the LEADER of leaders.

Tinubu’s politics is not populist, I don’t expect people especially Gen Z to like him, their brains are not mature enough to understand what needs to be done, good thing is they don’t vote in elections else they can sabotage the country at this point without even realizing

DHQ PRESS RELEASE TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI SUCCESSFULLY REPEL TERRORIST ATTACK IN BENISHEIKH In continuation of the Armed Forces of Nigeria’s (AFN) counter terrorism efforts, troops of the 29 Task Force Brigade in Operation HADIN KAI came under a coordinated terrorist attack on their location at the Brigade Headquarters in Benisheikh, Borno State. The attack occurred at approximately 0030hrs (12:30am) on Thursday, 9 April 2026, as insurgents attempted to breach the defensive perimeter of the military installation. However, the troops, led by the Commander 29 Brigade, Brigadier General Oseni Braimah, responded with exceptional courage, professionalism, and superior firepower. In a well-coordinated counteraction, the insurgents were decisively engaged and forced to retreat in disarray, abandoning their mission and leaving behind traces of their failed assault. This attack is a clear indication of the desperation of terrorist elements who, having suffered significant losses in recent operations, continue to resort to futile and ill-fated offensives against well-defended military positions. The swift and decisive response by troops underscores the high level of combat readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness of Operation HADIN KAI in safeguarding critical locations and maintaining pressure on terrorist groups across the North-East theatre. Regrettably, the encounter resulted in the loss of a few brave and gallant soldiers who paid the supreme price in the line of duty. The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Olatunbosun Oluyede, honours their heroism, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the defence of the nation. Their courage will forever remain a source of pride and inspiration to the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the entire nation. The High Command extends its deepest condolences to their families and loved ones. In line with established military tradition and respect for the fallen, the general public and media are kindly requested to allow the Armed Forces to formally notify the next of kin before the release of further details. The public is also urged to disregard misinformation, sensational reports, and unverified content circulating across social media platforms, as these undermine ongoing operations and national security efforts. The Armed Forces of Nigeria, in collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders, remain resolute and undeterred in the ongoing fight against terrorism and insurgency. Additional clearance and exploitation operations are ongoing in the general area to track and neutralize fleeing insurgents, as well as to deny them any opportunity to regroup. The Chief of Defence Staff, commends the bravery, discipline, and steadfastness of the troops, whose sacrifices continue to ensure the safety, stability, and sovereignty of Nigeria. Their dedication in one of the most challenging operational environments reaffirms the Armed Forces’ commitment to restoring lasting peace in the North-East and across the country. The general public is encouraged to continue supporting the Armed Forces through timely and credible information that can aid ongoing operations. Citizens are urged to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding as security forces sustain momentum in ongoing operations. Further updates will be provided as necessary. Signed MICHAEL ONOJA Major General Director, Defence Media Operations Defence Headquarters Abuja 9 April 2026

U.S. Security Alarm on Nigeria: A Bad Omen The recent directive by the United States to evacuate its embassy staff from Nigeria due to rising insecurity is deeply worrisome and should be treated as a national emergency, especially for a country already struggling to attract investors. Nigeria currently ranks fourth in the Global Terrorism Index, yet insecurity continues to worsen - lives are being lost and communities remain under constant threat. There is a glaring absence of effective governance; instead, what prevails are schemes that undermine democratic processes, as though politics has taken precedence over the safety of citizens. The U.S. directive is a clear signal of declining confidence in our national security architecture. Disturbingly, reports indicate the loss of yet another Army Brigadier General to terrorists in Borno earlier today. A nation where people cannot live, work, worship, or travel safely cannot progress or attract investment. The primary duty of any government is the protection of lives and property, yet in this regard, we as leaders have fallen short over the years. Our failure continues to place immense strain on our troops, who make the ultimate sacrifices. Sadly, as Nigeria deteriorates, we as leaders, like Nero, remain preoccupied with politics, forgetting that without security, there is no nation to govern and no future to campaign for. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Orunmilas wives are sacred in their ways and they had roles. 😁 Ever heard of how powerful Women rescued Yoruba towns from troubles spiritually and using wisdom? Yoruba culture respect women so much that we protect them from wars. We don't allow wars get to women and kids. We shield them. If as a Yorùbá woman, you allow someone whose tribe see women as inferior influence you, ìṣòro ayé ẹ nìyẹn Oh.

The Yoruba culture and religion categorise women as an integral part of the society, in marriage Yoruba culture see women as sacred at some levels, and the prayers from women are respect. Women folks are founders of towns, kings in the YORUBA culture. If I see a Yoruba woman trying to claim feminism, I see it as inferiority complex cos in our culture, we have proverbs that place women in respectable cadre. YORÙBÁ women aren't ordinary

An average American can't even find where Nigeria is geographical on a world map. But they see enough to profile you all rightly from the shii you post and the negative PRs you endorse. Anyways, I recently found out Taiwan and the Vatican also uses Nigerian variant of green passport. When next they want to pack you people join goats at US point of entry, I will quickly insert myself within Taiwanese on the queue. Me to the entry officer: Nǐ hǎo!

Yoruba women are revered in our culture. Most Yoruba women don't even need feminism because culture doesn't subdue women. We even have orisas that are women.
