@itsafronomics For Germany: it’s best to not jaywalk and don’t walk on bike paths (oft. integrated in sidewalk )
I agree! Take train between cities! Reserve a seat when booking too!
Lots of places only take cash. Shopping / Supermarkt closed on Sundays

@rose_alibi @loriemerson I see. The experience I had at repair cafes was more based on learning/ doing troubleshooting together - participant comes out with something (maybe) fixed but also with some practical skills. I feel like somehow a repair cafe at a library could be more about skill sharing.
English

@loriemerson Are there repair cafes where you live? I think these are sometimes good places for people to learn how to solder etc from each other.

@mediarchaeology In Montreal Canada try Artist run centers such as Eastern Bloc or Ada X. The often offer workshops

@drsaraharens My students are building conceptual karaoke machines out of e-waste. It’s pretty fun.

@hethbeck @notcapnamerica Ugh, overrated. Berlin is a place where if you have some cd's in your Rucksack, you can call yourself a DJ! Disclosure I live in Germany.

@AhmarSKhan That people you visit abroad will want (or even know what to do with) a can of Sirup as a gift.

@Sarah_May1 I’m English but work in German. I’ve messed up big time more than once, best response is when someone responded with “do you mean to say XYZ” and also add some humour in there.
English

@Abebab I feel a lot of those sentiments too when I read your work :) because of that, I really like to share your work with others.
English

@kylenabecker Do you look further than American for news? It’s happening, just set your search a bit wider.
English

@Kaywoodsetts64 I saw more footage of WWI. I studied both wars in grad school.

@PauletteSteeves @cbcideas @AlgomaU Thanks for doing this interview!! I learned so much and am inspired to read more.
