Sailing was the biggest mistake OSRS has made thus far. Such a massive pile of irrelevant shit that doesn’t fit into the game in any way.

@DeadBotting @erscrofano Opening up a WHOLE NEW TAB just to sell stuff, while in the ACTUAL game you can just break a teleport to Varrock or use a spirit tree teleporting you to the GE and selling your item! All these third party stuff you mentioned existed due to inconveniences.

@DeadBotting @erscrofano Nobody wants to come home from work, login on RuneScape and have to deal with their first hour or two just trying to sell things at Varrock West Bank when we can just hop on, sell idk green dragonhide and bones at the GE and then proceed to our next activity.

@erscrofano @DeadBotting I was there Eric. Started playing in 2006 and I hated it. When the GE released in 2007 I remember as a kid saying "Omg never go back to selling and manually typing at Varrock West Bank ever again." With GE, I just sell quickly and bam I continue doing other things in RuneScape.

@rafihossain52 There's a market place website like how osrs used to use zybez, but cutting out human interaction was 1 of the many things that ruined osrs

@DeadBotting Someone help me understand but why would grown adults want to sit for hours upon hours selling things without a GE? The GE literally saves hours of our life while playing RuneScape. I feel like 04Scape players are the same ppl that protested about GE coming to Old School.

I remember the first time they introduced the Grand Exchange back in November 2007, hated spending hours just standing at Varrock West Bank trying to sell stuff. Would hate to have no GE at 28 years old now 🥺
