@sazcass Unsurprisingly the data or research on the impact of CI are virtually non-existent. The medical model needs to be replaced with social model and also eradicate audism for good.

Is it common for deaf kids prior to a CI op to go from good number/letter writing *TO* erratic & poor letter/number formation (back to front) after switch on? Seeing this with two deaf 8yr olds at school.#TOD #cochlearimplant #hivemind
