Our Sunday summer series of concerts is drawing to a close soon at the end of the month … but today saw Faversham Mission Brass play for us 🎺 @VisitDeal @VisitDover

A glorious bank holiday Sunday in Deal and we welcomed 1st Whitstable Scout Group Band back to Deal Memorial Bandstand yesterday The concert was kindly sponsored by Dunkerley's Of Deal Next Sunday 31 August we welcome Thanet Concert Band, concert starts at 2:30pm

Yesterday saw the Railway Swing Band return for our Summer series of concerts … great weather for this local band Next Sunday 17 August will see Dartford Concert Band play for us from 2:30pm

Today’s concert with the London City Band has sadly been cancelled due to the weather We have a break now for the next 2 weeks whilst the fun fair is on Walmer Green and return on Sunday 10 August

Such a pleasure and privilege to have @RMBandService @RMSchoolofMusic with us on Thursday for @RoyalFamily His Majesty the King’s visit 🤴

We had a fantastic visit from His Majesty the King today in Deal & Walmer Meeting local volunteers & community groups with @RMBandService providing a 10-piece ensemble

Today’s memorial concert @rmbandservice has been cancelled due to heavy rain, thunder and lightning

For this Sunday 6 July @RMBandService The Strand, Walmer will be closed from 12 noon to 6pm between Canada Road and North Barrack Road - with a diversion in place There is also no parking along The Strand from 10am Further details on the concert is at bit.ly/3BDH02z
