All of the efforts to bring new fans to the sport, to incentivize new owners, to grow new talent on and off track, it’s all for nothing if major cities keep losing their racetracks. Going to racetracks in person creates fans. You can’t recreate that experience.

@jmpaquette A few bigwigs in the industry have asked what they need to do in order to grow handle. I responded incentivize people to come out an experience a day at the races. Food, seats, forms, parking…they looked at me and said, “no, I’m talking about handle”. Enough said. #clueless

Only races taken off the turf should be transferred to the Tapeta. 2- Raise the minimums on the Pick 5 and Pick 6 to $1. Get rid of the Jackpot. 3- Close CAW betting in all pools with 1 minute to post.

CAW’s have killed the payouts also. It’s a license to steal. And it’s too late now to do anything about it. We need them or it’s all over. We must now lie in that bed.

I am absolutely disgusted by the braintrust at Gulfstream Park. They are embarrassing the game by trying something new & running on Monday. Why? Because they want to grow their business. This is a sport embedded with tradition & rolling out new these wagers is pure witchcraft

This is a phantom foul. Can pull head on replays of the last 4 months(hundreds) where the same or more happens and not even an inquiry. It’s the biggest meet in American racing. This is a disgrace.
