We need to be careful when doing comparables for prospects. Patrice Bergeron is arguably the greatest two-way center in NHL history. Even mentioning Bergeron's name puts unfair expectations on Caleb Malhotra.

Here is what i think, if the sharks dont trade it their taking Stenberg, if they trade the pick their going for Reid at 4th and trading with the hawks, taking Reid at 2nd would make no sense for them not because of the pick, but because they have leverage and can get Reid lower while also getting something in return. #NHL #NHLDraft #NHLDraft2026 #SJSharks #Blackhawks
