Shameful. I’m incredibly proud that this government has scrapped the cruel two child limit. Reform wants to push hundreds of thousands of children into poverty. thesun.co.uk/news/38258787/…

Robert Jenrick thinks Birmingham is a slum. He seems to think we have ghettos in the UK where ethnic minorities don’t mix with others There’s loads of evidence to show that it isn’t true. Retweet if you think politicians should stick to facts before opening their mouths

The 8 "anti-establishment" Reform UK MPs have a combined wealth of at least 125 million pounds. That's: £125,000,000. And they claim they are on your side?

The Clintons invited Epstein to the White House 17 times but Liberals think... the guy who kicked him out of Mar-A-Lago is the pedo. Let that sink in😎

Should be 4 0 but for some hopeless finishing. There's a reason why a few of these players aren't getting much game time too. Tchaona looks the shell of the player he was when he arrived. #twitterclarets

Good meeting with @Keir_Starmer in Munich. Europe and the UK share similar challenges - from intense geoconomic rivalries to threats to our security. it is natural that we work closer to protect our people and common interests. We had a successful summit last year - let's keep the momentum and deliver at the next one.

Powerful, considered, statesmanly… what we should hope for in a Prime Minister. I say again, I don’t agree with everything, there have been mistakes but boy am I glad we have him right now.

BREAKING: Keir Starmer’s speech at Munich Security Conference is by far his most detailed analysis of British foreign policy and European security to date. — he rejects talk of a “rupture” with the US, warning “that could prove to be a moment of destruction.” The US “remains an indispensable ally.” But still he says “we recognise things are changing,” and that transatlantic relations must undertake “radical renewal.” — that means “rather than pretending we can replace all US capabilities, we should decrease some dependencies and diversify.” He calls for closer UK-EU cooperation on defence financing. — says “we are not the Britain of the Brexit years any more,” calling for closer UK-EU relations on defence and trade, to loud applause in the room. — directly says he will pursue “closer economic alignment” with the EU. “We must look at where we can move closer to the single market… the prize here is greater security and stronger growth.” Admits that will mean political “tradeoffs” domestically but vows he will proceed because it’s in the national interest, again to applause. — Says Europe is a “sleeping giant” and “we need to deliver a step change on collaboration.” Says that in the 1930s leaders were too slow to level with the public about the realities and that now they “must build consent about decisions we must take to make us safe.” — “we are not at a crossroads today. The road ahead is straight and clear. We must build our hard power because that is the currency of the age.” That will spur expectations that he has to more rapidly increase defence spending — says UK will deploy Carrier Strike Group to the Arctic this year alongside US and Canadian forces — warns that Russia is rearming and that if there is a peace deal in Ukraine that rearmament will accelerate and increase the threat to Europe. — vows the UK would defend any NATO country that comes under attack under Article 5. “Be in no doubt, if called upon the UK would come to your aid today”

I searched various sources but couldn't find specific data on the percentage of Tesco's UK workforce receiving Tax Credits when introduced in April 2003. Working Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit supported low-wage workers, but employer breakdowns from that era aren't publicly detailed. If you have a source, I'd love to review it!

Tesco makes nearly £4bn profit. Nearly 50% of its workforce are on Universal Credit, receiving about £600m a year. Why isn't Tesco paying?

How is Jim Ratcliffe more in touch with British people when he’s moved to Monaco? He avoids £Ms in tax, of which could have paid for 120K nurses… but yeah sure he cares so much about British people. It’s not migrants who are the issue, it’s tax avoiding billionaires. SICK OF IT.

Rebuilding Britain takes time. But thanks to the decisions we've made NHS waiting lists are falling. Inflation is falling. Interest rates are falling. The conditions for the economy to grow are there. With Keir as our Prime Minister we are turning the country around.

We are an absolute nothingness. We offer nothing in open play, set plays, can’t defend, play with zero tempo, don’t press… bottom of virtually every metric in the PL. Wouldn’t be surprised if we went on to finish bottom with a miserable number of points
