Birds are waking up everyone on one side of our house at 4:45am like clockwork every morning. I’ve tried the fake owl, fake snakes, loud fan in room, jamming stuff in windows to get as sound proof as possible and running out of ideas. They go pretty much for an hour. 1/2

Wouldn’t surprise if Solar Apex won a BM race in town in a couple of weeks and then found a little race in Melbourne over the carnival. He’s had the perfect 2 runs this prep to keep raising the bar. Love how he’s going about his work now as a gelding.

@porridgekemp6 @BOYfromAUS Absolute head scratcher that one. I guess the robots betting on numbers (ratings) and not the individual would have had something to do with the firm in betting. Which is a positive moving forward; his figures obviously suggest he’s good enough to feature this spring

@TravTurf True. MV Cup same day if he presents more that style. Lots of options though. And although a very small sample size, the Michelham angle & outcome will be interesting

@DeanElliott3 Perhaps the old Green Moon, Efficient lead up through a Cox Plate but gee he would need to win a Turnbull or run extremely well to probably be guaranteed in the field.
