Look for my asterism tonight after the big game: The Winter Football. But wait, what is that extra "star" inside of the Football? Is it a Seahawk or a Patriot? Or just a planet? Predict away! #winterfootball

Rare Lunar Occultation Tonight (Monday). The Moon will slide in front of the brightest star in the constellation Leo the Lion on the evening of February 2. Your timing will vary by location but from Cincinnati watch the Regulus disappear at 8:48pm and reappear at 9:39pm

What's that bright "star" next to the Moon tonight (January 30)? It's not a star. It's the planet Jupiter. Check it out among the stars of Gemini and just to the left of Orion #conjunction

The Falcon 9 rocket launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base was visible in Tucson, Arizona tonight. These are some pics I captured. It was outgassing for maybe 7-8 minutes. Then poof, it stopped leaving just the craft visible (in the last shot). Stage separation?

Keep Looking Up tonight for the Supermoon. See it at home, at work, or better yet, up at Ault Park with me 6-8pm.
Tera Blake@TeraBlake

Supermoon today! Join Astronomer @DeanRegas at Ault Park tonight for the biggest and brightest of the year! 🌑Did you know? The gravitational pull of a closer moon results in higher-than-average high tides, called "king tides". Coastal flooding and erosion is possible. @local12

SUPERMOON TONIGHT! Look for the closest, brightest, largest Full Moon of the year. Can you tell the difference? Around Midnight you'll be 218,500 miles away (or so) from the Moon. HOWLLLL! #supermoon
