...Kudos to Bob Levy for a well-written remembrance. My office there was across the hall from Bob’s when he first came to Cato. (His office had a well-deserved huge window. Mine had only a Magritte painting of a window, but I was thrilled to be there nonetheless.)

Where does your state rank in economic freedom according to @FraserInstitute’s Economic Freedom of North America report? These rankings are from scores using 2023 data, more changes coming from recent policies. Florida dropped out of top five at 6th for first time in 10 years.

Americans are voting with their feet in favor of less government intervention in the economy. States with higher #EconomicFreedom in 2023 tended to attract more population migration in 2024. Those with lower economic freedom tended to see more people leaving.
