16th April ‘94…The Kop’s last day as a terrace, and my 30th Birthday. 2-2 v. Bristol City, which is final home game at St Andrew’s this season also. Lucky enough to be in this photo on the front of the Argus. Ultimately relegated despite a superb run after this game. 🌎🏐 #BCFC

@craigyjones17 Craig. Absolutely nothing. I agree. I think the team that won at home vs Wrexham last year was a better side than the one we had out today. I said it to my mate on the way to the game 👍

The replies to this from Brum fans - wowzers 😳 All I was clearly saying was they were a far, far more impressive last season . . . . which they were. And that they easily deserved to win today . . . . which they did. What’s so wrong with that??
Craig Jones 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿@craigyjones17

The frustrating thing for me today is that Birmingham were really nothing special. They were miles behind the team we faced in both games last season. This is not a criticism of them btw as they deservedly won the game easily, but just highlighting how awful we were sadly.

Whatever happens today, this place will be unbearable again. We didn't even play yesterday and there was still a constant stream of moaning and screenshots of the league table.

@CalTalksNL Im staggered they’ve gone down. Admittedly it was Moors under Matt Taylor, but I thought they looked like they would really kick on in the draw against us at the start di the season. It’s a real shame for the fans of the club.

@DeanWSmith79 I'm not suggesting they aren't in part to blame. But the main reason certainly isn't them. They were managed by someone who was EXTREMELY out of his depth, then left it too late to replace him. Signings were also very odd.

@jonesynator @Vintage77Ball We went Aussie bar on Broad St. You picked me up in the Peugeot and we had the windows down with World in Motion and 3 lions blaring out at 6:30 am. Can’t remember much of the game. Came out the bar, people everywhere stunned 😦 went to work all day then. Great times 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

June 21, 2002, at 07:30 am UK time. Many Three Lions fans wake up early in the morning, turn on the TV while having breakfast, hoping to qualify for the semifinals. Michael Owen scored first, but Rivaldo equalized, and Ronaldinho closed the story with a magic free kick over David Seaman. Brazil won 2-1, England went home with sleepy eyes. ☕⚽ Who has ever watched a World Cup match this early in the morning?” “Do you think it’s better to watch football in the morning (while having breakfast) or at night (while relaxing)? And did this morning affect the performance of the English players at that time?

@chilternrailway The customer service is shocking. I’d pre booked tube tickets so costs me nothing anyway. It’s the material inconvenience and time wasted you seem unable to acknowledge.

Thanks for the pathetic service this morning @chilternrailway 8:25 from Solihull to Marylebone. Overcrowded train with no seats, various stops with loud announcements due to a fault with the alarm, now kicked off at West Ruislip and not got to my destination. Disgusting .

So, Chelsea v Leeds in the FA Cup at Wembley. Get set for lots of retrospectives on the mud-strewn 1970 final perpetuating the myth that "they staged the Horse of the Year Show a week earlier". The real story is in "All Crazee Now". @PitchPublishing

Chris Davies held a post-match debrief with his Birmingham City players on the pitch before leading them around the stadium. The Blues manager offered a hand of apology to The Tilton.

@PeterBr27295261 @alexedicken Not defending today. It was absolutely atrocious. But…if someone booed you at the end of your working shift, would it make you work harder? Course not. People have the right to voice their opinions. Even if different to our own. But booing just so pointless

@alexedicken Boo boys should get the fuck out of our stadium. These young men have more ability and talent than you could ever understand. How does booing help the situation . I'm a 60 year Blues' fan so I have the right to say : fuck you .
