Ayla just completed her successful PhD fieldwork collecting samples of different epiphytic orchids in the wet tropics of Cairns region 🤩 Ayla will be studying the endophyte diversity in orchid roots. The project is generously supported by the Australian Orchid Foundation 🙏

Ravensbourne field station is not only an active teaching space but also a site for important long-term global research 🧐 Today our group was out in the field sampling for a worldwide project that will reveal global soil biodiversity patterns - what a day to be outside!🦠🧬
