Ruben definitely sounds done. One of my hopes with Rubens appointment and his insistence on a system, was we wouldn’t inevitably revert to the same football the last 3 managers ended up playing.
He’s done that. Unfortunately it’s just… not working at all.
If he does walk and there’s a new manager, I’d have the same hopes. I don’t want a pragmatist who just reverts to what we’ve already seen.
I’ve also pretty much lost any belief that a manager is going to change much. It’s hard to put your finger on why we can never count on players to perform for 2 games in a row but it’s been a problem for so long it just feels hopeless.

Sure, but also note there’s two sides to this. Fair is fair.
Don’t deliberately choose to play a game that its devs intended to be a challenging experience and is marketed as such…
Then get upset that the game is “too hard” and pressure or demand the devs to make it easier for you.
You can choose your games that have an Easy mode, but let devs make their hard games without having to consider difficulty if they don’t want to.
Long story short - play what you want, lets other play what they want, and let devs make what they want.
