@RosbifsRugby @bronquistador A good one but cant beat poor Josh Raisque in his excitement lifting the ref into the air. That was top ProD2 😅

🟨 Is this the most bizarre yellow card EVER!? Thought you’d seen it all…? Pro D2 delivering again on a wild Friday evening! Kylian Jaminet on the receiving end of some French rugby insanity 😂 🎥 Credit: @bronquistador

@MrLukowski @wychstreet It might have been because I was studying then, but wasn't quantum physics all the rage in the 90s with all the bestselling popular science books?

@wychstreet I don’t mean ‘how did it run for three years’ as a criticism, but it is a fairly dense play and these days that level of success for a non musical feels quite… exotic even for something overtly commercial. (I mean part of the answer is clearly 'because it has a tiny cast’)

Arcadia is as great a play as we’ve had in 100 years. (And I’m agnostic on most other Stoppard.) Copenhagen is not quite in that league, but still great. It ran for so long because the metaphor is so accessible, & Blakemore’s production was startlingly precise.
Andrzej Łukowski@MrLukowski

watching Copenhagen while thinking ‘hmm I’ll probably have to change what I write if the Americans drop a nuclear bomb on Iran’ was a weird experience (the play is… like good but less funny Stoppard? sort of hard to grasp how it ran for three years in the ’90s!)

The biggest old man take I have in rugby is this: The phrase “Six Nations debut” is such rubbish Such a rugby thing to say
